Computer Vision Lab
The Computer Vision Lab at Cyrion Labs focuses on advancing state-of-the-art computer vision techniques for navigation, object detection, and scene understanding. Our work spans fundamental research in computer vision algorithms and applied research in domains such as autonomous navigation, assistive technologies, and augmented reality.
Mission
Our mission is to develop robust, efficient, and adaptable computer vision systems that can operate reliably in diverse and challenging real-world environments. We aim to push the boundaries of what's possible with computer vision technology while ensuring that our advances are accessible and beneficial to society.
Vision
We envision a future where computer vision technologies enhance human capabilities, improve safety, and enable new forms of human-computer interaction. Our work contributes to this vision by advancing fundamental research in computer vision and developing practical applications that address real-world challenges.
Research Areas
Developing computer vision algorithms that can operate reliably in challenging conditions such as low light, adverse weather, and dynamic environments.
Integrating information from multiple sensors (cameras, LiDAR, radar, etc.) to improve perception accuracy and reliability.
Creating algorithms for understanding the 3D structure of scenes, including object detection, segmentation, and spatial relationships.
Developing vision-based navigation systems for applications such as autonomous vehicles, robotics, and assistive technologies.
